Musings from Life as a Spiritual Bohemian

Two first class meetings down and two to go. I feel very good about the semester. Last semester too much was new and I was very disorganized. This semester the timing of my courses is much better. The two today were in a smart classroom which is good. I have created webCT support materials for the courses. I wasn't able to figure out the VISTA version of WebCT in time last semester. I have also made some changes in how I am approaching teaching that I hope will make a difference for both me and the students.I have already entered the first round of "engagement points" for the two classes who met today. Now I just need to go home and finish the syllabus for the gender class that meets tomorrow. Gender is the only one of my four classes this semester that is not intro to sociology.

Thankfully, I have also had a three days in a row where the fatigue wasn't quite so bad. This is very good.
