What is a word sort of like "envy" but more positive? Often when others describe an experience or situation in their life, I have the feeling of wow that does sound nice and I would like to have that too. However, I am mostly happy that someone I know/care about is enjoying that thing and feel happy for the person experiencing those good things.

This morning I claimed two three-drawer file cabinets, a different desk, a four-drawer lateral cabinet, another bulletin board, and a computer cart, from the campus dumping ground surplus room. It frightens me how much used and discarded furniture excites me.
My office has never quite worked as well as I would like. The way it looked bothered me. It reminded me of a storage room more than an office. There was too much wasted space and not enough flow.
I am hopeful that the new pieces will give me an environment that feels and works better. Now I just have to wait on the folks from physical plant to bring me my goodies and my old stuff gets moved to the part-time office where it will be an improvement over what they have now.
If nothing else, maybe I will be able to reach my printer better so that adding paper won't be as much of a chore.

So good I am giddy
